How it works

Three steps from blank page to working draft

Free to use. No account. No download. Your words stay in your browser.

Prefer Word? The Complete Kit ($149, one-time) has every template as an editable .docx file, plus a year of updates on your download page.

  1. 1

    Pick a template

Open the library and choose the document you need: annual report, annual work plan, board policy handbook, meeting agenda and minutes, grant progress report, landowner letters, cost-share agreement, equipment rental agreement or year-end financial checklist.

  2. 2

    Fill in the blanks

Type your district's details into the fields. They appear in the document as you type. Some templates have a State choice that adds a short note for Oregon, Oklahoma or Virginia. Other states use the national version.

  3. 3

Print, save as PDF or copy the text

Use the print button to print the document or save it as a PDF, or copy the text and paste it into your own word processor to keep editing. Have your attorney or agency review it before use.

Good to know

  • Nothing you type here is saved or sent. It stays in this browser tab.
  • A starting draft, not legal advice. Have your attorney or agency review before use.
  • Rules for conservation districts differ by state. Check your state's law before you use a template.
  • These are our own drafts. They are not government forms.
